Delhi/Dehradun: Maintaining the divinity and cultural identity of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is a collective responsibility. Previous governments did not pay attention to this, as a result of which outsiders have encroached upon many hilly areas. Government lands are being encroached upon by covering them with green and blue sheets, which is a well-planned and deliberate conspiracy.
We will not allow this land jihad to continue. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said this during the three-day Shabdotsav program at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium. In the discussion, Dhami said that we have started the work of removing illegal encroachments from government lands in a constitutional manner, and under this, we have freed 10,000 acres of land from encroachment. About 600 illegal structures have been demolished, where no religious relics, symbols, or signs were found.
Preparations are underway to hoist the world’s largest religious flag in Haridwar, which will become a symbol of Sanatan culture at the global level. He said that a different kind of game is being played in the name of education in madrassas, therefore, after July 1, 2026, such madrassas will be closed in Uttarakhand where the state’s prescribed curriculum is not being taught. We will not allow a tribal mentality to flourish in Devbhoomi and will establish temples of education that benefit every community.
Reach Dehradun by road faster than by flight
Rapid development has taken place in Char Dham and other religious areas. The work on the Delhi-Dehradun elevated road will be completed soon. After this, people traveling from Delhi to Dehradun will reach faster by road than by flight. Considering the possibility of increased traffic pressure in Dehradun, Rishikesh, and Haridwar in the coming times, a ring road proposal has also been prepared so that both tourists and local people can be facilitated.
India is the only country with two names: Dr. Manmohan
It is very important to understand India. There is probably no other country in the world that has two names. The concept of nation in India is different from the Western concept of nation. In the West, the concept of nation developed in the 16th century, while in India, the nation has always existed as a society. Indigenization means minimum dependence on others. These remarks were made by Dr. Manmohan Vaidya, a member of the RSS National Executive, during the session on “India’s Indian Concept.” Expressing concern over the country’s education system, he said that today’s education is producing job-seeking youth, which is leading to increased unemployment.
India has been limited to being described as merely an agrarian country, whereas it has always been an industrial nation as well. India never just sold grain to the world, but rather fed the world. Industries like steel, leather, brass, and textiles were prevalent in every household.
Regarding unity in diversity, he said that India is not a country of diverse cultures, but a country with a single culture that embraces diversity. He said that Generation Z is an optimistic generation that accomplishes whatever it sets its mind to. Instead of preaching to them, we should engage in dialogue and give them the opportunity to think and explore through questions.
