With a message of national unity and integrity, CM Dhami participated in the “Ekta Padyatra” in Tanakpur

Tanakpur: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived in Tanakpur on Thursday as part of his one-day Champawat tour. He participated in the “Ekta Padyatra” organized to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, a symbol of national unity and integrity.

The Padyatra began from Degree College, Tanakpur, and concluded at Gandhi Maidan. The Chief Minister, walking on foot, conveyed the message of national unity, integrity, and self-reliance to the crowd.

At the event held at Degree College, Chief Minister Dhami paid tribute to Sardar Patel by laying flowers at his statue. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister said, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is a symbol of India’s unity, integrity, and determination. His contribution to the freedom struggle and his role in the unification of the country’s princely states will always be remembered and will continue to inspire the youth.”

The Chief Minister said that Sardar Patel’s life provides an inspiring message of dedication, discipline, and unity for the national interest. He also urged everyone to take a collective pledge to build a drug-free India on this occasion.

The Unity March witnessed special enthusiasm among the youth of Tanakpur. NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, local students, youth, public representatives, representatives of various social organizations, as well as local citizens, participated enthusiastically.

The youth conveyed the message of unity and patriotism with slogans like “Drug-Free India” and “Adopt Swadeshi.”

The Chief Minister’s call for patriotism and national pride permeated the crowd, making this festival of national unity even more dignified.

Earlier, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the wedding ceremony of Nirmal Pathak’s (Editor, PTI Delhi) son in Bohragoth and blessed the newlyweds.

On this occasion, Minister of State with Independent Charge Shyam Narayan Pandey, District Panchayat Chairman Anand Singh Adhikari, Municipal Council Chairman Vipin Kumar, Block Chief Anchala Bohra, BJP District President Govind Samant, BJP State General Secretary Nirmal Mahara, District General Secretary Mukesh Kalkhudiya, Prakash Tiwari, Deepak Rajwar, Puran Mahara, Himesh Kalkhudiya, Shivraj Kathayat, Gunjan Sukheja, Satish Pandey, Pushpa Vishwakarma, Kedar Brijwal, Vikas Shah, District Magistrate Manish Kumar, Superintendent of Police Ajay Ganpati, Chief Development Officer Dr. G.S.
