Badrinath: The doors of Badrinath Dham were opened for the summer season on Sunday at 6 am with Vedic chanting with rituals. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state by performing the first Mahabhishek Puja in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the opening of the doors of Badrinath. On this occasion, the Chief Minister offered prayers in all the temples including Lakshmi Temple, Ganesh Temple, Adi Guru Shankaracharya Gaddi located in the temple complex. About 15 thousand devotees from the country and the world were present on the occasion of opening of the doors of Badrinath.
The Chief Minister greeted the pilgrims and devotees in Badrinath and also took feedback of the travel arrangements from the pilgrims. The Chief Minister said that efforts have been made at every level by the state government for better arrangements in view of safe Chardham Yatra and facilities for the devotees. He called upon all the devotees coming to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand to give full support to the state for a green and clean Chardham Yatra.
The Chief Minister took detailed information about the works of the master plan of Badrinath Dham from District Magistrate Chamoli Sandeep Tiwari and also took stock of the construction work going on near the temple. He directed the District Magistrate to get the works of the master plan completed on time with quality. Expressing satisfaction over the travel arrangements in Badrinath Dham, he directed the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police to make foolproof arrangements for passenger facilities and security.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took information about the preparations for Shri Hemkund Sahib Yatra from the District Magistrate and directed to arrange passenger facilities soon. He took information about the construction work of the bridge under construction in the Alaknanda river at Govindghat. The District Magistrate was ordered to inspect the construction work of the bridge and complete the construction of the bridge with quality before the Yatra.
