Paris Paralympics 2024: Preeti Pal won second medal, CM Dhami congratulated

Dehradun: Indian runner Preeti Pal performed brilliantly on Sunday and won the second medal at the Paris Paralympics 2024. Preemi has captured the bronze medal in the women’s 200m T35 category. Preeti won bronze in the women’s 200m T35 category on Sunday. She did this amazing feat with a personal best time of 30.01 seconds. Earlier, Preeti won bronze in the women’s 100m T35 race on Friday, which was India’s first athletics medal in a Paralympic track event. Let us tell you, India won 2 medals on the fourth day of Paris Paralympics 2024. While Preeti won bronze, Nishad Kumar won silver medal in high jump. In this way, 7 medals have come in India’s account.

Preeti, who belongs to Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, faced many difficulties at a young age. The financial condition of the house was not good. Not only this, due to weak and abnormal leg condition, plaster had to be tied on the lower part of the body just 6 days after birth. He was treated for years, but there was no significant benefit. Preeti had to wear calipers at the age of five, which she used for eight years.

But Preeti had passion and at an early age she came to Delhi for training. Then she fulfilled her dream with her hard work and dedication and brought laurels to her family and country by winning 2 medals in Paris Paralympics 2024.
