Dharali (Uttarkashi): A very emotional scene came in front of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who was inspecting the relief and rescue operations after the disaster in Dharali area of ​​Uttarkashi district, on Friday, which brought tears to the eyes of all the people present there.

Smt. Dhangauri Baraulia, a resident of Ishanpur in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, had come to Uttarakhand with her family to visit Gangotri. Due to the terrible disaster on August 5, she got stuck with her family in Dharali. The situation had become very challenging due to the blockage of the road and continuous debris and strong flow.

On the instructions of the state government, immediate relief and rescue operations were started in the disaster affected areas. The Chief Minister himself has been monitoring the relief operations by being present in the area continuously for three days. Due to the tireless efforts of the rescue teams, Mrs. Baraulia and her family were evacuated safely.

On the day before Raksha Bandhan, when the Chief Minister was present in the affected area, Mrs. Baraulia emotionally tore a piece of her dupatta and tied it to Chief Minister Dhami as a Rakhi. This scene deeply touched all the people present there.
