Dehradun: Once again, All India Service officers have been transferred in Uttarakhand. Responsibilities of officers from the Indian Administrative Service, the Indian Forest Service, and the State Civil Service have been changed. The transfer list includes changes for 23 IAS officers, while 11 PCS officers have also been transferred. Three Secretariat Service officers and one Indian Forest Service officer have also been included in the transfer list.
The Dhami government has changed the responsibilities of officers in Uttarakhand before Diwali. The transfer list includes changes to key positions. Significantly, speculation about the transfers had been swirling for quite some time, but now the officers’ wait is over.
The responsibilities of a total of 23 IAS officers have been changed in the state. IAS officer Dilip Jawalkar has been removed from the Rural Development and Rural Works Department. IAS officer BVRC Purushottam has also been removed from his position as Director of Fisheries. Similarly, IAS officer Chandresh Yadav has been removed from his duties as Secretary, Panchayati Raj, and Commissioner, Food.
IAS officer Ranveer Singh Chauhan has been relieved of his duties as Director General of Agriculture and Horticulture, replacing him as Commissioner of Food. Dhiraj Garbyal has been appointed Secretary, Rural Development and Rural Works Department. Indian Forest Service officer Parag Madhukar has been appointed Special Secretary, Panchayati Raj.
In the transfer list, IAS Sonika has been appointed Vice-Chairman, Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority. IAS Lalit Mohan Rai has been removed from his duties as Additional Secretary, Personnel, and has been appointed District Magistrate of Nainital district. He also has the additional charge of Vice-Chairman, District Level Development Authority. Vijay Kumar Jogdande has been relieved of his duties as Additional Secretary, Revenue Department.
Vandana Singh has been removed from her position as District Magistrate, Nainital, and is now appointed Additional Secretary, Planning. Vineet Kumar has been stripped of his responsibilities as Additional Secretary, Forests, and given the responsibility of Additional Secretary, Labor. Himanshu Khurana has been appointed Additional Secretary, Forests. Anuradha Pal has been removed from his responsibilities as Additional Secretary, Medical Education. Alok Kumar Pandey has been removed from his responsibilities as District Magistrate of Almora and has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, PMGSY, Additional Secretary, Information Technology, and Director, ITDA.
Gaurav Kumar has also been included in the transfer list and has been appointed District Magistrate of Chamoli. Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari has been appointed Director, Social Welfare, Haldwani. In the transfer list, IAS Ravneet Cheema has been stripped of his responsibilities as Additional Secretary, Labor and Social Welfare, as well as Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities. He has now been appointed Additional Secretary, Reorganization Department.
Vinod Giri Goswami has been removed from his position as District Magistrate of Pithoragarh and has been appointed Additional Secretary, Urban Development Department and Director, Urban Development. Ashish Kumar Bhatgai has been removed from his position as District Magistrate of Bageshwar and has been appointed District Magistrate of Pithoragarh.
IAS Prakash Chandra has been appointed Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities. Dipti Singh’s additional responsibility as Director of the Horticulture Department has been revoked. IAS Akanksha Konde has been appointed District Magistrate of Bageshwar. Similarly, Anshul has been appointed District Magistrate of Almora, taking back his position as Vice Chairman of the Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority.
Transfers of these Secretariat Service officers: Mayawati Dhakriyal of the Secretariat Service has been appointed Additional Secretary, Languages, and Director of the Language Institute. Santosh Badoni of the Secretariat Service has been appointed Director of the Secretariat Training Institute. Sunil Singh has been appointed Assistant Secretary, Revenue, and Secretariat Administration.
Transfers of these PCS officers: PCS officer Girdhari Singh Rawat has been appointed Additional Secretary, Personnel and Vigilance. PCS Chandra Singh Dharmashaktu has been appointed Director of the Fisheries Department.
PCS Lalit Narayan Mishra has been transferred to Haridwar as Chief Development Officer. Ashok Kumar Pandey has been appointed Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. Meanwhile, Sundarlal Semwal has been appointed Director of the Horticulture Department. Chandra Singh Martolia has been appointed Divisional Food Controller, Kumaon Division. Jai Bharat Singh has been removed from his post as ADM, Dehradun, and appointed CDO, Uttarkashi. Raza Abbas has been stripped of his responsibility as Additional Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Dehradun. Jaivardhan Sharma has been appointed Controller of Examinations, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Haridwar. Yukta Mishra has been appointed ADM, Almora.
The government has also included Krishna Nath Goswami in the transfer list, who has been appointed ADM, Champawat. Naresh Chandra Durg Pal has been appointed Joint Director, Consolidation, Udham Singh Nagar. Richa Singh has been appointed Deputy Collector, Udham Singh Nagar, and Sonia Pant has been appointed Deputy Director, Urban Development. Similarly, Sohan Singh has been appointed Deputy Collector, Rudraprayag, Paritosh Verma as Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Haldwani, Chatar Singh as Deputy Collector, Pauri, and Anil Kumar as Deputy Collector, Bageshwar.
Five DMs Changed in Uttarakhand: DMs of five districts in Uttarakhand have also been changed. Which includes Nainital, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Almora.
