Dhami government’s big decision: Honorarium increased for agricultural assistants deployed in 672 Nyaya Panchayats, now they will receive Rs 12,391 instead of Rs 8,300

Dehradun. The honorarium of agricultural assistants of the Agriculture Department deployed in 672 Nyaya Panchayats of the state has been increased. They will now receive an honorarium of Rs 12,391 per month instead of Rs 8,300.

Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi had earlier given instructions to increase the honorarium of agricultural assistants. According to the Agriculture Minister, a government order in this regard has also been issued.

Agricultural assistants deployed at the Nyaya Panchayat level play a crucial role in disseminating various schemes and technical information of the Agriculture Department to the village level. Agricultural assistants had been demanding an increase in their honorarium for a long time.

Their delegation had also met Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi some time ago and raised this issue. At that time, the Agriculture Minister had instructed the departmental secretary to take necessary action. As a result, the decision to increase the honorarium of agricultural assistants was taken.

Agriculture Minister Joshi said that boosting the morale of agricultural assistants and providing them with fair remuneration is a priority of the government. He expressed confidence that the increase in honorarium will provide financial support to the agricultural assistants and enable them to serve the farmers with greater enthusiasm.
