CM Dhami directs officials to make proper arrangements in public places and rain shelters across the state to protect against the cold and cold wave

Nainital: During his visit to Nainital, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, in view of the increasing cold, directed the strengthening of essential facilities in rain shelters across the state, as well as the lighting of bonfires to protect against the cold and cold wave. He directed all district magistrates to ensure that all appropriate arrangements are made in the rain shelters and blankets are provided to the needy to protect them from the cold.

The Chief Minister directed officials to activate teams in every district and ensure effective monitoring in cities, towns, and major public places, so that timely relief can be provided to the helpless and homeless. He stated that the government’s objective is to ensure this. He also directed the lighting of bonfires regularly in urban areas and towns during the cold weather, as well as to monitor them regularly. He also directed the administration to provide daily reports on the availability, distribution, and monitoring of essential materials.
