Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami received courtesy calls at his official residence from ministers, MLAs, public representatives, senior officers and employees of the government, administration, and police department, as well as people from various parts of the state, who extended their New Year greetings. High-ranking officials from various departments and organizations of the central government, including the ITBP, also met the Chief Minister and wished him a Happy New Year.
Chief Minister Dhami warmly welcomed all the visitors and expressed his gratitude for their wishes. He said that the new year symbolizes new energy, new resolutions, and new opportunities, which further strengthens our resolve to serve society and the state.
The Chief Minister said that the year 2026 will prove to be an important year in Uttarakhand’s development journey. This year, the state government will take even stronger steps towards the goals of good governance, public welfare, and self-reliance. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is working with full commitment for the all-round development of the state.
He said that ensuring the benefits of development schemes reach every citizen, creating employment opportunities for the youth, empowering women, strengthening basic facilities including education and health, and preserving the natural and cultural heritage of the state are the government’s top priorities. The government is determined to maintain the religious sanctity of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that with the cooperation of the government, administration, and the public, this year will prove to be an important milestone in realizing the goal of making Uttarakhand one of the leading states in the country.
Chief Minister Dhami appealed to everyone to work together for the development of the state. He wished for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the citizens of the state and said that the new year should bring joy, success, and new possibilities into everyone’s lives.
