Dehradun: Dehradun Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday. On this occasion, various schemes related to the overall development of Dehradun city, strengthening of basic amenities, urban infrastructure, sanitation, traffic management, and other important issues related to public interest were discussed in detail. The Mayor apprised the Chief Minister of the major demands keeping in mind the current needs and future development of the city.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami seriously considered all the points and, stating that the development of Dehradun city is a priority for the state government, assured that the demands presented would be fulfilled soon. He said that the state government will take effective steps in coordination with the municipal corporation for the expansion of public facilities and the systematic development of the city, so that better facilities can be provided to the common citizens.
