Started with the initiative of Chief Minister Dhami
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself has taken the initiative to connect the expatriate Uttarakhandis living abroad with their soil. In fact, before the Investors Summit held in December 2023, CM Dhami went on a foreign tour, where the migrants welcomed him with the customs of Uttarakhand. During this time, many successful people met the Chief Minister.
Migrant Uttarakhandi cell was formed
After this, Chief Minister Dhami directed to form a Migrant Uttarakhandi cell in the government as well as organize an International Migrant Uttarakhandi Conference to take advantage of the experience of such migrants. In this sequence, on November 7, a similar conference has been organized in Dehradun among the Uttarakhandis living in different states within the country.
