Uttrakhand: Recruitment for 4,400 govt jobs to begin this month

Dehradun: Uttarakhand govt announced that recruitment process for 4,405 Group C posts in 11 departments will begin in Sept, with exams conducted by Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC). The UKSSSC will release the schedule on Sept 15.
Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed strict adherence to the schedule so that “people are provided jobs on time”.

UKSSSC chairman, GS Martolia, told TOI that requisitions for 4,405 vacant posts have been approved. “The commission has completed preparations and dates of examination and announcing results will also be released,” he said.
Of the total posts, 2,000 are for police constables, 700 for forest constables, and 1,200 for roles like revenue assistants, said Martolia. Additional posts include 10 for library science, 40 for assistant development officers, and 25 for drivers. Martolia added that the commission will ensure transparency during recruitment and timely completion.
